History

1954: Koo Kee Yong Tow Foo first greeted its customers. The founder,Mr Chong Seng Tong, along with his wife,plied the streets of Chinatown, selling their speciality,Hakka Yong Tow Foo.

1960: Mr Chong set up a kiosk under a tree next to the Majestic Theatre. When Mr Chong fell ill, his wife continued the business,along with her son. Her son picked up the knowledge & skills of the trade.

1968: The stall shifted to People's Park & the name was officially changed to Koo Kee Yong Tow Foo, it drew crowds of customers.

Now,Koo Kee Yong Tow Foo,commonly known as Gao Ji Niang Dou Fu has 30 outlets in Singapore at various shopping malls. They will continue to develop various new products & expand the brands under Gao Ji Food to other countries in South East Asia.
